Painting of a frame includes;


  1. •Stripping old paint

  2. •Bead blasting to remove any old paint and small amounts of rust. Also provides an etched surface for mechanical bonding

  3. •Washing frame

  4. •Application of new paint and clear coat

Panels - Any time an additional color is applied with a masked line or a hard edge. Also to insert color blocks in the body paint color. Fades - Colors combined without masking or hard lines. A way to combine two or more colors in graduation. Panels/Fades - Panel and Fades techniques can be combined for a dramatic effect. Pearl - Adds a iridescent quality to paint. Pearl also will manipulate the color, an example is a red color will turn a sparkling pink with a white pearl or will turn orange with a gold pearl. Lug lining/Box lining - Highlights lug work. Provides design to color.
